Review : We LOVE our log bed.
All I can say is WOW. This is a VERY high quality and well constructed log bed. My wife found this bed and I liked the look of it. I was skeptical that despite the name it may not be made in Montana. We grew up in that area and wanted something authentic. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when it shipped from a small town in Montana and I was able to watch videos of their operation. Delivery took quite awhile and as you can imagine with a king log bed weighing several hundred pounds required arrangements to be made so we could be there and have it left in driveway or garage.
We had to take it upstairs and I am glad my wife is a strong gal because the headboard is very heavy for 2 people to go upstairs. Assembly was fairly easy but does require ribbed metal sleeves to be pounded in to pre-drilled holes. I was fortunate that I was able to find an adapter for my cordless hammer drill and use a socket with it other wise 8 – 5" +- lag screws would have been a lot…
