DIY Jewelry Organizer – DIY Room Decor
Hey Guys, Today I will be showing you how to make this cute little jewelry organizer.
I found the idea on Pinterest but I kinda made it my own.
Originally I didn't plan to make this a video, but my friends really liked it on SnapChat So I decided to upload it for you guys too.
All of the materials and steps will be in the description.
Hope you enjoy! I'm about to go at this old mirror with some knifes, because I can't.
I don't know how to get this off.
I just want the frame.
So, the first thing that you'll need is a frame.
I got mine off of a mirror that I bought at Goodwill If you buy a mirror, like I did, you'll need to take it apart.
Do this very carefully, or even have your parents do it for you.
Now it's time to spray paint your frame whatever color you want.
I recommend reading the instructions for the spray paint.
and following those Once you've painted your frame, you'll need to hang it.
Again, you might want to have your parents help with this I used a self drilling dry wall picture hanger for mine.
Good job! You're half way there! Now you'll need a spool rack.
You can pretty much get this anywhere that has sewing supplies.
I got mine at Hancocks and with a couple of coupons, it was about $6 Now paint your rack any color.
When your rack is dry, follow the instructions on the package and put the command stripes on the back of it.
I went to go check on this and its's pretty much dry everywhere, except for the back.
and that's actually where I'm going to have to put the command stripes.
So I'm going to have to wait probably.
another hour or two hours till this drys, to actually put it up in my room I used medium picture hanging stripes.
And there you go! You're done! Now you've a super cute way to display your jewelry and your DIY skills.
I hope you guys really liked this video.
